Please check out my other sites Running Cold or End of Nights Currently TIF is "inactive" due to me owning two other sites and being busy with school and life in general. This will hopefully be back in the future. <3 But please I encourage you to join one of the above links, Running Cold has been running strong for 3 years and that won't end. End of Nights is a newer site that me and my co admin are determined to get going, so that won't die...we love Sanctuary too much. <3 I hope to see you guys there ~Chuck

THE BUY MORE (1 sub-board) The Buy More is a large electronics store located in Burbank, CA. Anything from TV's to stereo's, DVD's to other electronic devices are sold here. This is also the home of the Nerd Herd if your computer requires a fix. In the back is a large media room with a huge TV on the back wall and cushioned sofas along the window wall. Down a hallway on the left side of the store is a break room and employee bathrooms. Sitting near the hallway to the break room is a small office with a wall of windows that look out into the store, this is the managers office.

CASTLE Known to only members of the CIA and IIA, is Castle, which sits under the Buy More. Down the hallway and behind Chuck and Casey's lockers is the entrance to Castle, or if you are simply an IIA spy, locker number six. Castle is a high tech facility with complete lock-down and defense capabilities. With mostly glass walls, bullet proof, and a complete wardrobe system for special missions, it is the ultimate headquarters. When the IIA moved in an underground garage was added to Castle to hide and supply the agents with everything they need for an op. If something is wanted or needed for Castle please see the thoughtful help box inside, and be sure to attend any meetings that are called
BURBANK HIGH SCHOOL A few blocks away from the Buy More is Burbank High School, they have an extensive class selection from swimming to computer technologies. The school is built in a modern design and offers extra curricular activities and classes like horse riding and archery. Every semester they hold a "potential job fair" to let the students see what is out in the world. The IIA is known for showing up at these events under the face of the Buy More, this is how they scope out potential trainees for their agency. Grades do matter however, so students need to focus on that in order to graduate. Though rumor has it the IIA is more interested in activities than grades.

LARGE MART In direct competition with the Buy More is Large Mart. They sit one short block down from Buy More and often try to take out Buy More sales and operations. At the back they have a small TV "room" that allow customers to test TV's. Though it isn't actually a room, more like a circle of shelves holding ink cartridges. On the right side of the store is a small hallway that leads to the break room and employee bathrooms, and in that same hallway is a small office, the managers office.

BURBANK SOUTH HOSPITAL Sitting on the south side of town a couple blocks from the Buy More is the Burbank South Hospital. The hospital is a large, white structure with many windows for natural light. They have a radiology department, surgery rooms, infant care center, maternity wing, and a neurology department. The hospital is known for taking in interns for certain medical training and procedures. Atop the hospital is a large heli-pad for patients that needed to be airlifted to the site, however there is also room on the roof for a small structure that shelters the hospitals helicopter from the weather, the roof of the structure is mechanical so that it can split open and allow the helicopter to leave unscathed.

SHOPPING MALL The shopping mall is a huge two story structure with fast food areas, clothing stores, and book stores. High School students often take up jobs here to earn a little extra cash while studying to accomplish their dreams. Friends can hang out here just for fun, or trainees can use the mall to practice break ins. Mall security tries their best to keep out the rowdy teenagers that often find it funny to pull pranks on employees. Recently a library was put in at the end of the mall, though some say the library isn't open 8 - 6 like they advertise, some say they remember seeing strange things that go on at night.

THE FLAK-JACKET RESTAURANT AND BAR In the nicer part of town, along side several antique, glass, and jewelry stores is a restaurant owned by an ex-military man, he named the place "The Flak-Jacket" because of his military background. During the day it is a friendly family place with a children's menu and Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast, in the evening it transforms into a beautiful and elegant restaurant where one could take a partner on a date. Though into the night the bar side of the building opens up and it becomes a pumpin' night club with flashing lights and a dance floor, though for the less exciting there is a sports bar at the back. It is open from 7am to 3am every day.
BURBANK SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED The "Burbank School for the Gifted" is located in the hills close to the National Forest. Though the title "for the gifted" is generally thought of as referring to people with a genius IQ, that is not the case when it comes to this full time University. It is a small campus, but with modern glass, metal, and wood structures that extend well underground and can be up to four stories tall. There is a swimming pool, a track and a couple football and soccer fields. There is a large concrete pathway that trails down the center of campus, it is made of red and gray concrete in a pattern that makes the trail look longer than it really is. This portion of the campus is called "The Mall" and is often where the job fair can be located when it is in town.

TORONTO, CANADA Sitting on the edge of one of the Great Lakes is Toronto Canada, though most missions are though to be oversees, Toronto is often a location that is either a middle ground, or "secret location" for those uprising crime groups. Under Toronto is a large tunnel system that use to be used for illegal money transports back in the day, though now the tunnels are "abandoned" only occupied by those willing to enter a pest ridden place for the sake of a mission.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA With skyscrapers that touch the sky and an underground world like none seen before New York is one of largest epicenters for gang information. Connections here can lead back to LA, or to any other part of the country. Cyber rime and street crime are the main problems in this city. Though it is also a great place for a weekend away from the boring life at the job, night clubs are open all night and the Law Enforcement stretched thin.

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO A very cultured city with a rich heritage, though this is one of the larger trail-ways for illegal activity in the lower South America or southern US border. The city is however a beautiful vacation spot for those looking to visit a heavily cultured area or those who are looking to retire to a beautiful place. The IIA does not have a presence in Mexico as of yet, simply a house that has been bought under the presumption of the Buy More Employee of the Month vacation home.

RUSSIA Russia, home to the old Volkoff industries. Though now other crime families are trying to gain a foot hold on the world of evil. The IIA use the old Volkoff industries building as an international base of operations and research center for extreme cold climates. Don't be afraid to request transfer here, the building has been remodeled to appear, less evil, and now is more or less a second Castle.

FRANCE The IIA has not established a large presence in France, though they still operate here. They have a small base of command, under the guise of an areal equipment manufacturer, when in reality it is the cover for a small division of agents who know French as a second language. Though France is also a lovely place for the every day citizen to visit and enjoy the sites of the country.

UNITED KINGDOM England and Scotland, two beautiful places with dangerous people. MI6 and other law enforcement people are on high alert since the Volkoff downfall. The IIA has a small presence in the United Kingdom, though the country has been more of a hide away spot recently. With a beautiful landscape and great atmosphere, Trainees are often sent here to do side training if needed.

IIA HEADQUARTERS Just north-east of Burbank, hidden in the woods, obscured from sight from above, is the IIA training compound. At the northern end of this compound is the official IIA Headquarters. The building is two stories, yet an unknown number of stories below ground. This is the first stop for entering trainees, and the location they will be tested at before they are admitted into the program. The building is built out of an unknown metal compound, and most of the walls are constructed from a reflective, one way viewing, glass. Inside the compound and to the left of the Headquarters is a massive garage that extends underground. Though the trainees are not given directions to the site, they are picked up by a blacked out bus and escorted to the premises. Inside is a mix of hardwood floors and some kind of cold black floor, always kept up by a cleaning crew. The administration office is the first office within view in the spacious waiting area, and offices for the Directors of the IIA are said to be several stories down.

BUNK HOUSES (1 sub-board) A large steel and glass building sits on the west side of the compound. Want some privacy? Well to bad, at the IIA, new recruits are thrown into large rooms filled with bunk beds. That's right, one bed on top of the other, men and women are separated and are not allowed in each others "rooms". Though if you are lucky enough to advance into a higher Trainee grade or have been around or you've behaved, maybe you will be graduated to a dorm like room with a room mate. The large rooms are not made for comfort, as it needs to be learned that comfort is sometimes a rare pleasure. The large rooms have gray and black tiled floors with white ceilings and walls. There are two trunks located at the end of each bunk bed for the Trainee's belongings and male and female separated bathroom and shower stalls. Though that is only the first floor, the large cafeteria is also located on that floor. The second floor however is where the "dorm rooms" are located. Each built to accommodate two people though males and females are still separated. There is one bathroom for each gender located in every hall.
FITNESS FACILITY Sitting beside the bunk houses is a large, primarily glass, structure that houses everything for the Trainee's fitness needs. At the front is a nicer eating area, though Trainees need to use their monthly allowance to pay for the food here. Along the wall are separate food areas that other Trainees operate. There is a smoothie and fitness shake area, burger stand, pizza stall, ice cream shoppe, and an Asian food stop. There is a large seating area, tables with high chairs. Farther back in the facility are exercise rooms with electronic equipment like treadmills, then stationary equipment rooms like weights and strength machines. At the back is a two story tall pool room with diving boards from the first and second stories into an 11 foot deep pool. Beside the deep pool is a lap pool with an under floor, underwater tunnel linking the two. There are a few hot tubs at the back to relax stressed muscles. On the second floor is a dancing room where dance classes are taken, though there is enough room for practice as well. On the outer edge of the building, first floor though still inside, is a climate changing track, snow, rain, sleet, or extreme heat. No one ever knows what it will be set to, and can change without a seconds notice. In the basement there are a few wrestling mats and boxing units set up, along with showers for after the fact fights.
SHOOTING AND FIGHTING TRAINING GROUNDS Along the east side of the compound is a series of shooting designated areas for various types of weapons, inside and out. There is an outside range for sniper rifles spanning the entire length of the compound, there are pistol and rifle target ranges and shot gun skeet shoots. Though the targets aren't always stationary, Trainees can opt for random moving targets instead of stationary if they want to test themselves. There is another outside range in the forest in the east. One side is target, stationary and moving, practice for any kind of gun, and another is a paintball range. Though generally they give you very little protection from the small balls of paint. There is a building, three stories with bulletproof glass like the rest of the buildings, inside is where close combat weapons training is located. The weapons inside are all animated using computer software, though the users are given a "real" looking gun and the gun does kick whenever "shot" there are no bullets but blanks in the guns. This trains the Trainees for close combat situations indoors. Though it is said that no round of training activity is the same, the computer program changes whenever a new "mission" starts. Occasionally the building's automation system is shut off and real scenarios with real people are played through, generally used for physical training or tests.

IIA LEARNING CENTER The IIA isn't just about the physical aspects of mission training, there are histories, languages, and computers to be learned or hacked. It is a large building on the west side of the training grounds, made primarily of glass and metal. The building reaches two stories above ground and three underground, each one is full of class rooms and offices for classes from the French language to computer hacking. The building is open with classes running around the clock. Some classes like Night Tactics is located outside and only use the room for minor history lessons. They say that the computer system in the building has been programmed to fight hackers with everything it's got, some students enjoy practicing their hacking on the system, though officials aren't concerned because the computers are on their own system and will not harm their official database and computer systems. Students are required to show up at this building to register for classes they want to take, though they are permitted to drop and add classes to find what they like. Classes determine the job that Trainee's are placed into for future jobs and clearances. The top floor of the Learning Center is a library, with some rooms labeled as "silent rooms" books here pertain to things taught here, if there is a book that is wanted by a student that isn't in reference to one of the classes they are told to go to the shopping mall library.
SITUATIONAL DRIVE TRAINING Students are encouraged to take at least one training course in evasive driving, in any vehicle they chose. However, the IIA offers more courses in this large area. The driving surfaces vary, for cars there is dirt, asphalt, gravel, and shallow water. For motorcycles, ATV's, and other small motorized or unmotorized vehicles there is asphalt, gravel, dirt, shallow water, and off road through trees. During winter the water is frozen and ice driving is available to be taught. At the entrance to this, unfenced, area is a small building where a young clerk allows you to pick out what you would like to practice driving. Students are allowed, with their records checked first of course, to borrow vehicles for practice, though they are unable to remove them from the premiss's. Night, Evening, and Day classes are available to be taken.

REQUEST DEPOT (REQUESTS R US) Hidden behind the Learning Center is a seemingly small building with just a few rooms, they call them "request rooms" where students or spies can go in and request certain weapons, vehicles, clothes or other equipment. Though the building appears small under ground it extends farther underground than anyone knows. This is not the same as training guns and cars, this is the real deal. The clerks here are always on high alert and have the ability to lock-down the small building in less than a minuet with the simple press of a button under all their counters. You need to be specific when picking up stuff, graduated spies are allowed a "locker" for their favorite weapons, vehicles, etc. That way they are using familiar objects they hold dear. This is a no-bull-shit building, and the people that run it will not tolerate any prank's or break in's. The building is under a couple watchful eyes twenty four seven.

OFF-HOUR RECREATIONAL AREA At the far end of the training facility is a building known as the "rec area" inside there is a large eating area, similar to the work out facility but with more choices, there are video game rooms, air hockey, pool, arcade games, a lap pool, hot tubs, water slides, etc. Both inside and outdoor pools and slides. Basically it's an area to get away from hectic life and or training and just relax and make some friends. Outside is a mini go-cart track and mini golf. Some like to think of it as a resort, since it is so different from the other areas of the facility. There is a mini movie theater in the basement along with laser tag. Anyone from Trainees to full-fledged spies come here to loosen up and get to know the others in the IIA. Occasionally people set up hiking or camping trips for others to join in on, everyone says to keep an eye on the cork board near the front door. In a largely glass room in the back corner of the building is a series of zen and yoga rooms, where extra-curricular classes are given in finding inner peace and calm.
IN-ZONE TRAINING When the Trainee's have reached a certain stage in their training they will be placed into groups, these groups then are required to meet in a small building at the back of the Training Grounds. The building is all wood and metal, very little glass. There is one story under ground, and a small shack looking thing above ground. In the floor below ground is temperature, weather, and altitude chambers to help recruits build up resistance to the elements and altitude. Though if deemed strong enough the group is shuffled to a private plane in a downtown Burbank airport and air lifted to a location. All Trainees must go through these tests. There is no saying what location in the world they will go.

SURROUNDING GROUNDS Surrounding the IIA is a large forest, filled with good hiking trails and rough trails that aren't well traveled. The IIA allows students to access the outer ground at any time, though they are not generally patrolled as they lie outside the IIA grounds. The forest variates between thick and barely maneuverable to sparse with much open ground, however much of the grounds are covered in either soft grasses and flowers or heavy brush. The occasional stream and fishing pond dot the grounds perfect for any time that someone wants to go fishing or for a dip. Some people say that towards the top of the mountain, along a hiking trail, is a nice set of hot springs where the temperature in one always stays a comfortable warm degree while the other is on the hotter side. These hot springs are surrounded by rocks so that couples can have some privacy.
PHANTOM FALLS Back and hidden away in the National Forest is a large waterfall that falls into a deep crystal clear pool. The water variates temperature between cool and warm because of the springs that fuel it. People call the place "Phantom Falls" because of the strange shadows that fall in the evening, and the seemingly ghostly echoes that are often heard in the area. The pool then breaks away into a thin, but fast moving, river called the Spirit River. The shore along this lake is sandy, though as it nears the waterfall it becomes more rocky and allows people to climb up a ways before diving into the deep pool. Behind the Falls is a deep cave, people are often to scared to enter because no one knows where it goes. Portions of the cave are submerged in water. Many mysteries are hidden inside, crystals? Gold? Medieval treasure? If you're brave enough maybe you will find out.

SHALE BEACH Along the California coast is an isolated beach. Although quite a hike to get to it the southern part of the beach is soft sand as the northern part is rocky. People say that on the rocky part of the shore it drops off and leads into random underwater caves never explored. Though the current is strong and only the strongest swimmers should enter the water in the north part. Sunshine and beaches, it's what people think when they think about the sunshine state.

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (1 sub-board) Along the north-east side of Burbank and northern LA is a huge national forest known as the Angeles National Forest. There are rivers, creeks, and reservoirs, at some hidden places waterfalls have formed due to earthquakes in the area. Rock climbing, swimming, and hiking are some of the activities that are available for the area, along with camping and the lesser known, training. Trainees from the IIA are sent up here as a first task to test certain aspects of the students personalities and minds, though it is dangerous with the wild bears and mountain lions that make the mountain range their home.

LAS VACAS Located out in the wilderness somewhere in Nevada is a park called Las Vacas. According to some people it is an amazing park for swimming, hiking, climbing, and camping. The forest is teeming with small and large wild animals and there are plenty of places for people to set camp and have some fun. Bachelor parties, camping trips, or simple boy scouts, there is no telling what Las Vacas holds. Each camping ground comes with a fire pit, though some come equipped with a small in ground BBQ and a picnic table, there are very few restrooms in the area and no running water except for the rivers and streams.
